Man I love ESPN... They keep saying that we can get value for Bedard or Washburn at the deadline... I love being dismissed by the network that widely believed we were going to win the division with this same staff and a worse supporting cast... Then they sing the praises of the A's and today they start bragging up the Rangers.

Showalter knows what's up about our outfield though.. 2 days in a row we have the number one web gem, yesterday it was Yuni. Maybe if we do that for the next week or so they'll finally realize we've got an amazing all around D.

Clement, Fields, and Sylvia....For Peavy...
We kill off a bust who most teams still somehow think is a prospect, a guy we won't need if gutless can learn to close, and for two top prospects force them to eat fat boys salary....Only thing is, both him and Bedard are up at the end of the season...I think we could raise payroll to keep them after winnng the World Series though.....

Personally I think it's a move that makes a huge amount of sense...

I can see that. I like Fields, but he will be out of the pen, and if Morrow will be our closer, we won't need him. I agree with dumping Clem, and don't even get me started on that fatty. If we were able to pull the trade, that would be amazing.

Why would we do that? Our only right handed starter then would be Felix... I mean we COULD move RRS to the pen, but then who takes that last spot in the rotation? I don't see that happening We're alright in the rotation, we need a lefty in the pen.

Jax was awesome.....AGAIN! DA is looking great to....

Curious that "the closer" (aka nutless) didn't get into a 1 run game...maybe Wak isn't sold on him either and is starting to thing DA or Jax should be the stopper...

He wasn't going to play today no matter what, it was bullpen by committee minus Morrow, he was up too many games. He is still our closer, just like Putz didn't close the games when he pitched three or four nights in a row before. He will be available today.

Lopez and Johjima with clutch back to back doubles!!

Mark Lowe works out of trouble... Even going back to last year, this team just doesn't quit.
