back with 20 minutes to spare...

First thing I see RavensInsider Twitter is saying Seattle has interest in Brandon Marshall.

I sure hope they dont give up a 1st round pick for him

Me either, but we do have one of their picks.

I would rather have both of our 1st round picks. WR is one of the last positions we need to fill at this point

We are less than 8 minutes from the madness. In the past three-years I've covered this it's slow until about 1 a.m then it picks up. Let's see if no-cap changes that.

Ok it's been pretty quiet in Seattle. Here's what I'm hearing:
-CB Leigh Bodden is drawing interest from Seattle.
-DE/OLB Aaron Kampman is a likely free agent signee by the Seahawks. Makes sense he's familiar with John Schneider from Green Bay.
-Julius Peppers as reported earlier that Seattle was the likely landing spot is meeting with Chicago today as well as RB Chester Taylor.

More to come as I hear more. Not much going on right now. Starting to pick-up though.

Yeah just about to post that. Brandon Marshall anyone?

It looks like thats what management is interested in at this point. I still dont like giving up a 1st round pick for him. But after this I wouldnt be as mad if that deal took place.

It's official NFL has received the papers. It's a 5-year deal worth $25 with $11 guaranteed.

Quick Notes before I step away from the computer for a little:
-49ers WR Arnaz Battle has a scheduled meeting with Seattle this weekend.
-Ravens WR Kelley Washington is also drawing interest from Seattle according to the National Football Post.
-Still no meeting or talks between Aaron Kampman and his agent with Seattle.

More to come later.

Landry wouldn't be a bad addition.
Watson would only be a back-up to Carlson.

Chester Taylor has signed with Chicago according to ESPNs Adam Schefter.

Marshall will be in Seattle tomorrow to visit. If we offer a deal Broncos would have one week to either match it or take our 6th pick of the 2010 NFL Draft.

As it's been posted Mike Bell will be in Seattle Monday for a visit.
-Also Lions CB Will James will be in Thursday for a visit.
-Chris Baker former Patriot and Jet TE will be visiting Seattle later this week.
The Brandon Marshall trade is expected to take sometime. They expect he will leave headquarters without signing an offer sheet. Which is expected the two sides will attempt to work on a deal.
-The Browns according to Profootballtalk might be interested in acquiring Seneca Wallace. Mike Holmgren drafted him when he was the Seahawks head coach.

According to sources Aaron Kampman has agreed to sign with the Jaguars. It was rumored Seattle had interest in the DE, but they never set-up an official meeting.

Seahawks have just confirmed that Cardinals S Matt Ware also will be visiting the Seahawks today. Watson will meet with the Browns after his meeting with the Seahawks and I would be surprised if he didn't go. In Seattle he will be a back-up possible 2nd TE if we run two TE formations, while in Cleveland he will have a very good chance of being their starter.
