Here's my take. I was in Vegas over the weekend, so of course I wanted to place a bet on the Hawks to win it all. So I walk
into the Sportsbook at the Hard Rock on Saturday and the pamphlet printed that morning has odds at 50/1. So I go place my bet but only get 30/1. When I ask why they tell me Manning is coming here after Denver then possibly to Arizona if the Hawks don't roll out the red carpet with a big fat check attached to it, which is what is expected to happen. Now I'm home, checked the odds tonight which now say 60/1. He's not coming, time to execute plan B!

We could've just kept Hasselbeck if we wanted an old veteran. I don't think this team is as close as Manning to a super bowl. Everyone thought add favre and the jets/vikes would win too. I say stuck with t.joke for another year. Build around what we have and don't overpay for a qb, especially with such a bidding war going on....

The Vikings did win with Farve they made the playoffs in his first year and this is Peyton Manning 5 time MVP . At least we tried to talk with him, you have to at least try . And I think we need to meet with Flynn give TJ and Portis a chance and draft a QB as well plus who ever gets Manning may cut their QB so you have to look there as well. In other words you have to exhaust ever means to put the right guy in place.

In the mean time go spend some cash on Super Mario or some other sack maker and build a super D to stop all these 4000 and 5000 yard passers out there.

Yeah Vikes were a couple plays away from going to the SB w/ Favre a couple years ago, so that's a mute point.

And I dont expect the Hawks to sign Matt, I just think it would be cool for him to retire with the Seahawks.
