    Huh? Anyone get that?

Word is he might be the best pure pass rusher in the draft, another Leo.

...... dafuq? If you want Irvin trade down. Or you can get him in the 2nd then take Hightower or Decastro if you feel Irvin addresses your pass rush situation. I have no doubt he'll be productive, but he's only going to be a situational guy.

I suppose it depends on what they felt would happen. Maybe no one wanted to trade into 15 and they felt Irvin would be gone by their next pick. I was hoping for DeCastro, but whatever. If he can get double digit sacks, I'm good with that.

We made that pick almost immediately. With Ingram and some of those other players still available we could have found someone to trade with.

Pete is saying that he loves the kid. Tried to recruit him to USC.

"We are excited about this kid in a big way. He is immediately a 3rd down rusher." He also said they will immediately expand beyond that doing packages with Clemmons, etc.

Just because the pick was made immediately doesn't mean they hadn't been trying to trade during the 12th, 13th, and 14th picks. And it also doesn't mean that people valued Ingram or Coples or anyone else high enough to give up something substantial.

Well, Kiper hates the pick so that's one thing to like about it lol.

I have faith in Schneider and Carroll, hopefully he's our Aldon Smith.

There were way better players out there, and we could have got this guy tomorrow.

Speculation, you don't know other teams' boards. I'm warming up to the pick, there are a lot of positives being said about him. 4.4 speed off the edge is crazy.

I'm pissed at the pick because he would have been there tomorrow just like you all said...this isn't Madden they just pick who ever they like instead of looking at the round and the available players

True, can't say when he would have gone now, But I'm gonna be really pissed if this guy flops and Ingram or Coples tear it up.

Ingram is going to tear it up, he's got Shaun Phillips there.

I'm not doing back flips for this pick, however, I am happy we addressed need, and moved down 2 add more picks. Pete must really like the team as constructed IMO to spend the first round pick on a specialist.

Pete carroll's kid so gotta give him a shot, but he has a VERY checkered youth, dropped out, lived on the streets, arrested for robbery, wow man really taking a chance on him, expecially for a 1st round pick. But if he becomes qb killer then its all good.... just seems way risky, very suprised at it.

idk im just annoyed with these risk picks so high.... Get a sure guy in the first and then go find some fast ass rusher in one of the later rounds and risk it then.

I'm nervous for the pick, he's got nice stats, 4.4 40 YD, 14 Junior Year Sacks (2nd in the nation) but his past makes me nervous especially because one incident was recently...
