    You want an accurate QB?

Its different throwing at a moving target, especially when there are defenders in the way.

You're bragging about being closed minded? Lol who invented the sabermetrics couldn't be more irrelevant. Like it or not sabermetrics are revolutionizing the game, front offices rely heavily on them now.

I get what you're trying to say, and you're right. BUT sabermetrics are a great tool, it takes people that believe everything can be quantified to invent these statistics so people like me can use a combination of those stats and what they see on the field to base their opinion on someone.

    You want an accurate QB?

He was a red shirt freshman last year. He'll be competing for the starting job this year.

Baseball is a stat sport, always has been. Why not use advanced statistics? Sabermetrics are just an attempt to level the playing field, for example OPS+ is a stat that takes into account that ballpark players play in and adjusts accordingly.

espn's first mock (with us in it anyways)

I never said that about either of them. There's a lot to like about both guys, but right now there isn't much question Mallet is the better passer. With Locker its all about his skill set, which is great, but just because he has the tools doesn't mean he knows how to use them.

espn's first mock (with us in it anyways)

He's listed at 6'6" by his college, he'll probably measure in at like 6'5.5" at the combine.

.... What are you talking about? Manning and Brady are 6'5"

Sabermetrics are a great tool. I use them a lot, but I don't rely solely on them.

That's not true. Stats like WAR take clutch situations into account.,

I had the same SB, but with the Ravens winning. I know that's in here, but that was my preseasoon prediction too.

So your argument against sabermetrics is that the people that are rewally into them are nerds?
