Dude is a prime example of the wide receiver "prima donna" persona. Thinks himself way better than he is and acts out dramatically for attention.
Still, I think he's got a ton of potential and some of that overly cocky attitude does give him some swagger out there on the field. Just needs to...
Looks like Flynn got double the snaps over TJack today.... Could this be the slow but sure transition of Flynn into the starting role?

"According to STATS LLC, which tracks the number of times defenders are burned by receivers, Sherman was beaten 37 times in 88 targets last season for a rate of 42 percent. By comparison, Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis was targeted 89 times and burned 36, a rate of 40.4 percent. Of cornerbacks...
Yeah dude... it's not that he has the occassional drop, every wideout has those. It's the type of passes he drops...
He'll make all the tough acrobatic catches, jumping over dudes and tipping the ball to himself before toe tapping in bounds... but then later will be streaking down field...
Sure there are....
Flynn, Thomas, Rice, Unger, Mike Rob, Trufant, Mebane... Those are all high character guys who have not had off-field issues. They may not be Shaun Alexander, but they're all pretty recognizable and all good guys.
Cable said Breno would be the one guy he'd take with him into a dark alley....

An endorsement from a badass like Tom Cable who punches his assistant coaches for being stupid ;D
I recall Breno getting into it a few teams...
Ok, Lynch does have a history and he is from the hood. Like Bob says, most of his issues are from a lapse in judgment and probably some immaturity also. Not defending the DUI, nor anyone who drives drunk, but to quote a pretty famous dude form the Bible, "He who is without sin (insert ever...
Yeah, I think Breno played pretty solid at RT down the stretch. I can't see McQuistan replacing him. I think its his position unless he all of a sudden has a drop off.
And some times he gets the amazing case of the drops! I remember adeep rainbow that Sanchez tossed him and he couldn't located the ball even though it was a floater and its just bounced off his hands and helmet. He looked like a fool. That is the one knock I remember hearing about him...
^ Yeah I second the comment from szat. I can't find the article (from beginning of last season), but I recall Matt saying something along the lines of "Its nice to finally have a line that gives me time to throw the ball"... Again I'm paraphrasing off of memory.
Hope Hawkblogger is right...
Maybe Carroll is pushing this QB competition thing just to drive TJacks stock. If the rumors are true, I doubt we'd get anything higher than a 5th. Then again we could find someone as dumb as the Raiders....
If the price were right (2nd or 3rd round), I would be all for it.
