    2012 Season expectations

Shaun Alexander had one of the best lines I've ever seen. If he had this line he would get crushed, Lynch behind Hutch, Jones, Tobeck, and Grey would dwarf SA's production.

    2012 Season expectations

This team is not finished growing.. But what are you talking about? This team is ready to start competing NOW... I'm not sure what your expectations are, but do you remember 2003 and 2004? Those teams both made the playoffs (one lost in Green Bay and one lost at home against the Rams), but it...

What would You do at Wide Receiver ?

We haven't really seen Butler play in over a year. I just want to see what he can do before we write him off as expendable.

TO on his way to Seattle....

It would be pretty ticky-tack to penalize us for that considering Owens is a 15 year vet. I highly doubt he needs that time to adjust.

    2012 Season expectations

Matt signed here in 2001. You keep throwing out these names out there like they were here when Matt signed... Yes, Alexander was here, yes Hutch was here so were Jackson and Engram and obviously Jones ... But Dyson, Tatupu, and Hill weren't here until 2005. Jerry Rice wasn't here until the...

    BUZZ 2012 - Preseason 1 vs. Tennessee

Hah, well it made sense to have the white unis on since you thought we were in Tennessee.

    2012 Season expectations

Well, Matt didn't have a potential top 5 defense or one of the best backs in the league... I was really young when Hass signed here, but didn't we have a declining Ricky Watters as our running back?

TO on his way to Seattle....

To me it seems like if this was TO from 5-10 years ago he would be throwing a fit over not getting to wear 81. Not saying that proves anything, its just a sign that he may have matured a bit.

Also bru, we're at home for this one ;)

    BUZZ 2012 - Preseason 1 vs. Tennessee

Looks like BUZZ got himself a new hoodie. TO must have changed his number after this little chat.

What would You do at Wide Receiver ?

I'm actually really looking forwarrd to seeing Butler play.
  13. bobflipaburger

    Flynn or Wilson ?

We would have to really be struggling to switch QBs mid-season. That's probably not going to happen.

What would You do at Wide Receiver ?

Durham goes back to the Practice Squad

What would You do at Wide Receiver ?

I think se keep Obomanu because he's great on Special Teams. Edwards will be cut unless he absolutely lights it up during the preseason games.

TO on his way to Seattle....

TO seems humbled... We'll see, but he doesn't seem to be the cancer he used to be. I don't think he's the TO you guys had in San Fran.

TO on his way to Seattle....

Lockette and Durham are still PS eligible, but Lockette will probably get snatched up quickly if we put him there. Rice Owens Baldwin Tate Lockette Obomanu maybe Edwards or Butler if we decide to keep 7.

Turning a weakess to a strength?

If they both stick around than Deon Butler is probably gone and maybe someone else. We didn't have a guy who has proven he can play on the outside, both of these guys can. We need legitimate threats on the outside to open things up for our TEs/slot guys, I don't think Golden Tate is going to...

    Where are we now?

Just because the team is young doesn't mean the ENTIRE team has to be young. Its good to have veterans that the young guys can learn stuff from jjust by watching them. TO probably won't make the best mentor, but if any of the young recievers have a question for him I'm sure he'd answer it. Lost...

Flynn to Start on Saturday v. Titans

I wouldn't read too much into it. Flynn just gets to go first. I'm sure Jackson gets his shot with the first unit next week. Its Flynn's job to lose, but that's nothing we didn't already know.
