    Seahawks select J.R. Sweezy, DT

Pretty athletic, especially for a guy that weighs about 300 lbs. 36" verticle amongst DTs was tops at the combine.

    Seahawks Select Bruce Irvin, DE

Carroll seems pretty convinced the Jets would have taken him, it sounds like the Bears and 49ers also had him rated highly. Bottomline, Bruce is perfect for the LEO, the off the field stuff appears to be way behind him, he's pretty unanimously regarded as the best pass rusher in this draft...

    Seahawks select Winston Guy, S

Out of Kentucky good size 6'1" 220, runs a 4.5 coming off a shoulder injury.
  4. bobflipaburger

    Seahawks select Jeremy Lane, CB

Out of Northwestern State, which is apparently in Louisianna? Doesn't make any sense lol . Another big CB 6'0" 190 lbs and runs a 4.4

    Seahawks Select Bruce Irvin, DE

Wish it was the actual number he was going to wear, but here's Bruce at his press conference today: And here's the cliche "let's make him look like predator because he has dreads" picture:

    Seahawks select Korey Toomer, LB

Another guy from the WAC. This time another athletic LB out of Idaho.
  7. bobflipaburger

    Seahawks select Jaye Howard, DT

Looks like a pretty athletic DT, ran a 4.7.
  8. bobflipaburger

    Seahawks select Robert Turbin, RB

Another guy out of Utah State. Big back 5'10" 222lbs, good athlete, had the best broad jump at the Combine 122" ran a 4.5 at the combine and a 4.4 at his pro day

    Seahawks Select Bruce Irvin, DE

He was in the top 15 on at least seven teams' draftboard. Wasn't a reach unless you talke to Kiper and Mcshay. I trust Carroll and Schneider to evaluate talent a lot more than the draft "experts" out there.

2nd/3rd Round: Bobby Wagner, LB & Russell Wilson, QB

Wagner had a ridiculous combine/pro day... ran a 4.46, benched 225 25 times, 11' broad jump, 39" verticle, 7.09 3 cone drill. I'm still pretty sure Kendryks was tthe guy they wanted, but they were looking to get faster/more athletic in the front seven and they've done that so far. I want to see...

    2012 NFL Draft Thread

We have more picks today (7) than we had total picks when the draft started (6) and day 3 is where Schneider and Carroll have done their best work. Let's hope there's another Sherman or Chancellor out there.

    Kellen Moore a Seahawk ?

I'm more upset about missing out on Kendrycks.

    Kellen Moore a Seahawk ?

Ugh... Moore is NOT a long-term prospect. He's a career backup at best.

2nd/3rd Round: Bobby Wagner, LB & Russell Wilson, QB

I would rather have Lamar Miller than Polk. We need a guy that can break one anytime he touches the ball.

2nd/3rd Round: Bobby Wagner, LB & Russell Wilson, QB

I'm sure we're going to find a creative way to use him. He won't be our future QB.

    2012 NFL Draft Thread

Eh, they took a risk and missed out. I'm pretty sure they were planning on taking Kendycks with that pick.

We moved down 4 spots and got an extra 5th and 7th. Love it.

Everyone is calling him Bruce Mode.... I kind of like it.

    Kellen Moore a Seahawk ?

Uh.. Hd never said they still play in the WAC, He just said the majority of Moore's games were against the WAC, which is true.
