How many rushing yards did Newton have? Couldn't have benn much more than about 20.

    Hey From Patriots Nation

Really looking forward to this game. Right now we have the #1 defense in the league (that could change after Houston destroys the Jets tonight) and you guys have the #1 offense. Very much unstoppable force vs. Immovable object on paper.

Wilson has a better winning percentage than Flynn.

Good validation for King too. He picked Irvin as DROY.

He benched him for a series. Sent a message, if this continues he might get benched permanently.

LOL^^^ But 18, if a rookie QB with a limited playbook that's been a liittle "gun shy" ("Brian Gumble's" term) in the red zone is only scoring 1 TD a game, that's all he'll ever throw!

That pissed me off... That was the best pass of Wilson's career and it didn't even count.

He isn't seeing things in the red zone some times, but it doesn't seem like its because of his height to me. I think he has a problem with looking to the right side of the field too much. Now that I think about it, he doesn't throw left very much.

He doesn't attempt those tight throws. I think because he doesn't want to risk a turnover. Might be a trust thing with the recievers too.

I think a lot of his ineffiency in the the re zone has to to with the emphasis on not turning the ball over. Eventually he has to just let it rip. I'm sure they'll concentrate on red zone offense a lot this week in practice.

Ah, ok yeah. That broadcast last week was almost as bad as the game itself.

310 yards of total offense is about average. Red zone effiency was below average though.

Ok, then you have a 74% completeion percentage, 224 yards, and an INT that was Lynch's fault.

Good enough as this is a developing offense. All we need is average offensive production to win, and today that's about what the offense was. That was Gumble, the was Tim Ryan. Gumble works for CBS. That is a legitimate point, but that's something he'll have to develop a feel for. I don't want...

I thought for sure that was a TD.. We matched up perfectly against this offense. Can't wait to see how we handle New England's offense. Patriots fans will be wondering what's wrong with their offense next week. We made Rodgers look pretty bad, time to do the same to Brady. I'm pumped for this game.

The more I see/think about that forced fumbled by Browner, the more I love that play. Playing both parts of the option and forcing the fumble... God damn, that was impressive.

Agreed! I want Brady and Bellichick to leave Seattle in tears! Lol Loved seeing Bruce chase Netwon down from behind. How many defensive linemen can do that? Wagner is a stud. Can't wait to see how these guys match up against New England's offense.

No argument here. I was happy with how Wilson played today, not jumping out of my seat. But he looked much better this week. The pick 6 was an awful throw, but he had a decent game overall. The offense was what we're all looking for. Relatively average, but able to move the ball and play the...
