That contract was pretty expected. It's a good thing I don't feel bad for the Raiders and their fans, because they've got burned pretty badly so far...

The first line for each article, is what gets my attention. NFL.com's says:

If we don't shop Carlson we have 2 TEs that are very good blockers as well as pass catchers.

Agreed. Never been too high on this kid. A decent receiving TE but a below average blocker IMO

This is a great signing...Miller is going to be just the solution we need in the short passing game. This is really going to open things up for Rice down the field. Miller can block as well as catch passes. He is in the top 4 or 5 tight ends in the league...considering his youth, he may be even better than that.

No wonder the Raiders wanted to keep him so bad...This is a big signing for us...Really

This is a great signing for you guys! Seahawks are really accumulating talent. If Kolb works out in AZ then the NFC west won't be at the basement of the NFL for much longer.

If Rice stays healthy and MW continues to produce like last year, Seahawks will be a QB away from having a potent offense.

Lol thought that was funny too, like "if you dont understand this, then you dont understand what were trying to do here."

I do think it adds a tremendous flexiblity, It will probably reduce multi - WR sets, but remember last year they had TE's and RB's at times lining up in slot and even wide! Interesting.
