Absolutely, they take a OT to protect the injury prone McNabb, for sure top 2-3 OT will be off the board. Unless one of the 2 DT falls to us, it hurt us.
If Washington keeps that #4, then yes, it would have an effect on our pick. But this move definitely makes them a prime candidate to trade down so some team can jump up and get one of the QB's.
i'm still in shock about this, as a major eagles fan why on earth would they trade to a division rival >_< that only needs an offensive lineman and a few wideouts to be a threat. If the rumors about washington going after Brandon Marshall are true and they get him the eagles will look pretty stupid when washington is out destroying the NFC East for the next 3 years.
I agree they will probably trade down since they no longer have a second round pick.
This effects us, but honestly not as drastically as people are making it out to be. There is no guarantee that the Skins were gonna take Clausen at 4 anyways. If Okung was there they would have probably grabbed him with the 4 anyways. It still depends what ALL 5 teams ahead of us do.
The McNabb trade could affect us, it just depends how long they want to keep him around. It would hurt to take a QB if there is one available that they like because he can learn from McNabb for 2 years and come in when he leaves or is reduced to a backup role.
By the way, shouldn't the title be "So does the McNabb to DC", not "So does the McNabb to WA"?
