The guy's a douche. I said it last year when he pulled all this shit. If he stays retired, I think that in time his legacy will be just fine. If he comes back and plays for the Vikings, it will be destroyed forever.

I don't see where him playing this year or last hurts his great career in the long run.....we don't look back at Montana think of him as a Chief ? or Emmit Smith as a card or Rice as a seahawk..Farve will be forever a Packer, even if he comes back and beats the snot out them this year....he will still go into the HOF first ballot no matter what happens....so he can't quit the game who cares he's not first guy and won't be last , that should just hang it up and can't.

Its only a soap opera because the media makes it one...its a better story then TO or Pac man or steroids or Vick.....if he does come back and play the ratings will sky rocket for that Packer game

Exactly...

He's turned into a joke...When Montana went to the Chefs he was low key about it and wasn't trying to "get back at SF"...This asshole's whole mission in life is to somehow prove he's still better than Rogers.

I am so sick of Farve and his drama. Every great thing he created through out his career he has managed to squash these last couple years. Whoever is feeding him women hormones needs to stop so he can finally make up his mind on what he wants to do!

It isn't the fact that he played another year for another team. It is the manner in which he handled himself.

it still won't matter long term, use LT ( giants as an example) people don't remember things like this because it has nothing to do with how he played on the field or his stats.... He can't make up his mind and the media makes it into a circus....hell we even have a thread about it so ..you can't blame it all on Farve

When I think MJ, I think the greatest basketball player to ever live... although that Wizards stint did not help his image. But when you dominate the game THAT much, it takes alot more to ruin the image completely.
