Snell has tons of potential... I think he'll start realizing that potential and be a legit #2 or 3 starter (depending on if we bring in a starter or not). I still have some hope for Morrow, but Bavasi seriously mismanaged him. RRS looks good. I like Fister.
We're a big bat away from contending... Doubt we'll be able to afford Holliday who's really the only good hitter out there this off season. Mike Carp has tons of potential though.
Wilson is awesome, SS isn't a position you really look for a ton of offense out of anyways. But Johson SUUUUUUUCKS I'd rather have Kenji start then Johnson. According to UZR the mariners this year were the best defensive team since the stat has been around. We had 4 of the top 20 defensive...
what do you want the M' s to do this off season?
I say:
Felix has arbitration, get something long term done! like LONG LONG term, like a 12 year contract.
Re-sign: Bltre, Griffey, and Branyan and bring back Jarrod Washburn. Make a trade for Juan Pierre... Can you imagine our outfield with...
I'm not predicting anything... I just said every game we have left is winnable... Maybe other than the Minnesota game... Depends on if that game is home or away, didn't bother looking everything up I just know what teams we play this season off the top of my head.
I don't know... If not for a blocked FG the 9ers wouldn't have even been in that Minnesota game. Maybe they were just playing over their heads for the first few games of the season... Guess we'll find out.
I said I thought Nate was going to have a break out year last year and he looked well on his way after that awesome TD catch in Buffalo... But then he got hurt. So Nate's production hasn't surprised me at all. And to be honest I think we're all a little surprised it took Housh until game #5 to...
We get Detroit, Tampa, St. Louis, and Tennessee... Those should all 4 be wins.
Green Bay(winnable), Houston(winnable), Minnesota(tough game. I'm going to say a loss right now), San Fran(winnable), Arizona twice(winnable times 2), Dallas(winnable).
I'm not saying 12-4, but I think it's possible...
Well the Dodgers' offense is actually pretty good. But the depth of the Phillies' line up may make them the best line up in the NL. The Dodgers' advantage is in their defense and their bullpen. Phillies have better starting pitching and a better offense.
I picked LAA and Philly too.
voted for Matt and Benson.
Benson rushed for 100+ yards against the Ravens. The Ravens hadn't allowed a 100 yard rusher in 40 games... That's 2 and a half seasons. That impressed me.
