Think this is good for the Hawks... he hasn't been healthy since 2007, and has been playing hurt, hence not playing at a 100%.
Now if only Big Walt would be an adult, quit pulling a Favre and retire already, so we can have closure and move on.
Definitely DE with one of our first round picks...
Haha Marshall and Housh would be a pretty sick combo...
Marshall would draw the coverage and Housh would get his favorite "one on one" coverage, which he says he will win in "everytime".
Even though it's not VERY likely there is still a good chance he falls to us @ 6. He maybe the best "NFL ready" Tackle as 18 put it, but is he worth a top 5 pick?
It would be very sick if we got Okung at 6 and Morgan at 14. Address needs on both O line and D line.
Give them our 14th and one of our 4th rounders for their #2. That way we still have 2 picks in the 1st (top 10) and still have our other 4th...
your thoughts?
GET EXCITED!!!
This forum is way too dead for how close we are to the draft!
We've got two picks in the top 15, a 2nd, two 4th and 5th rounders and a 6th and 7th...
I think PC and co. can do some damage this year?
My picks for entire draft...
#6: Okung or Berry
#14: Derrick Morgan or...
I love it!
Even if this does not work out, I love the fact that we are going after guys with "character issues" and not just flower planting recylclers like Ruskell did.
Now hopefully he learned a few lessons, and a year away from Football cleared things up.
If Suh, Okung and McCoy (DT) are off the boards and Berry is still there, imo he is hands down the must pick player at #6.
At 14, either Tackle, DE or trade down...
Great.
Now we can sign this Brown guy, and still keep Sims and trade him for someone else or a pick.
Heard Mora on 710 the other day say Sims was told by the Seahawks to not train at the facility because they do not want to risk injury to him and that he would not be a Seahawk next year. : )
Dude Wag, you "hear" a lot of stuff, that nobody else does.
Every reputable (existing) sports source around the time of the senior bowl, combine and pro day(s) only praised Blount; his actions and performance and never once was there any mention of foul behavior.
If you could kindly generate...
What a shocker? We don't want another old guy at the DE position, past his prime...
Take a draft pick. 3rd rounder and call it a day. The bears traded for Culter so you know they're stupid.
Why is everyone saying Ganther is going to play fullback?
How many games has he started at FB? College or NFL. Someone please find this statistic for me...
He is a RB
Like I said in the beginning, I am not overly stoked about this trade.... BUT....
Pete Carroll is known for his ability to recognize talent in young players, and groom them up to be damn good players. He has a lot on the line here in Seattle, a lot to prove, and I doubt he would have made this...
How many seahawk fans were ecstatic when holmgren brought in a bench warmer by the name of Hasselbeck?
Not a big fan of this trade, I wish next years 3rd rounder alone would've been enough... but I will give this guy a shot.
