SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

O-Line is probably the biggest need. And he wasn't projected as a 2nd-3rd round pick, he was a mid second rounder. I wanted Smith too, but this guy is a mauler. We'll be a better running team because of him.

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

Maybe they have a lot of confidence in Browner.

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

Dude, chill out. They tried all the way down to the wire to trade back. They couldn't so they picked the OL that they felt best fit their system.

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

Maybe that too. But it seems more like a system thing... I'm curious to see how they decide to use Andrews and Carpenter as far as who plays Guard and who plays Tackle.

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

It sounds like a system thing. He fits into a Zone Blocking Scheme better than others that were available.

And with the 25th pick the Seahawks select?

Jimmy Smith, Da'Quan Bowers, and Muhammed Wilkerson are all available. I want all of them more than Ingram

Maybe Jimmy Smith will fall to us :) I think either Mallet or Dalton will be the best QB out of this class

Agreed... Peterson and Rodgers-Cromartie is probably the most explosive duo of CBs in the league already
