Official 2009 CY Young Winner

Sad to say but Zack Grinke has won the 2009 AL CY Young Award. Felix Hernandez finished 2nd in the voting. The last award up for grabs is the 2009 Manager of the year award that Don Wakamatsu currently is the leading canidate for after a 25 game turnaround for Seattle last season. Could we be looking at the next Lou? Who knows, stay tuned to find out!!

Grienke deserved it. He was so amazingly good this year and the judging by the voting being in a small market didn't hurt. Felix got the 2nd most 1st place votes with 2 Verlander had 1 Grianke had 25.

Felix finished 2nd with 80 points. Grienke had 134 lol. Absolutely the right choice though. I didn't want Felix winning the Cy Young this year anyways which I've gone over before.
