If that's what we get from him, this would be one of the best deals I've seen from the M's in a long time. I'm expecting 20 HRs and around 90 RBIs and I'd be perfectly happy with that.

I really wish we didn't have Johjima now. The only negative thing about a Griffey signing is that he's gonna take some AB's away from Clement in the DH spot.

As big of a Yankee fan I always like Jr. He's a true class act guy. He's never in the papers for the wrong stuff and well in a game that I don't trust anyone anymore I do think he is one of the more clean players the game offers. I think his respect for his father is too strong to ruin the game they love (unlike Bonds). Plus I think he wants and is a good role model to his children and wouldn't do that to show different.

Would be nice to see the M's return to glory days and open the competition back up in the West.
