Cornerback Kennard Cox, who was just re-signed on Saturday, is active for the Seahawks today. He is expected to help fill the void on special teams created by injuries to several players who are inactive against the Steelers.
Cox was re-signed when defensive end Dexter Davis was placed on injured reserve because of a hip problem.
Several players signed on game day or the day before a game already have been productive for the Seahawks this season and preseason – defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove in the opener at San Francisco last week; and since-departed defensive linemen Maurice Fountain and defensive tackle Ladi Ajiboye during the preseason.
Inactive for the Seahawks:
OT Jarriel King (ankle)
CB Byron Maxwell (ankle)
FB Michael Robinson (ankle)
WR Sidney Rice (shoulder)
LB Malcolm Smith (hamstring)
QB Josh Portis
OT Tyler Polumbus
