Your missing another game against the Rams, and it seems you counted it as a loss because your tally is allready 8-7.

Splitting W/L with division rivals is a safe bet, but I believe we can beat the Rams twice. I am interested to see if we are ready to knock back the Cards twice with Boldin and Warner gone.

That leaves the 49ers who I hope we split 1/1 with so we have a shot to win the division. SD should be the only touch game from the AFC West, and I find them overrated due to the division they play in and the fact they slid by on luck not long ago when they fell to 8-8 and the Broncos had to go on a losing streak for them to have shot at playoffs.

9-7 seems like a strong improvement for our team while still coming short and the safe bet. So I will say 10-6 and we take our division and win the Super Bowl over the Ravens by a last second pass to Deon Butler who puts on the burners for a TD! We did it! :emoticon-0140-rofl:

That's depressing. You're saying we start out 6-1 and then can't get much more on the W column? Ouch.

And how many of these threads do we have to endure?

8-8 here. Although the only other game I think we have a possible shot at winning is maybe @ Oakland but i'm doubtful considering they got Campbell, and improved that team to protect him (Veldheer and B. Campbell) and now have a decent D (Wimbley, Seymour, Asomugha, Branch, McClain, Houston, etc.). So I think we lose it. And dare I say it, we lose to SF the first game. They are going to contend if Smith plays well.

I have them at 9-7 too, but I think that is optimistic.

The first game against the 49ers is the most crutial on the calendar, it will tell us alot about this team, our division, and our home field advantage.

8-8 would be more realistic and an improvement

6-10 would be a disappointment

Great quote, totally agree. IMO Hasselbeck is on a short leash with Whitehurst around. Remember Matty is not Pete's guy, so the rug could be pulled quick. If Charlie has to start this season, 6 - 10 would be good, with an eye on next season (If there is one).

Hopefully Matt can step it up. He needs to.

From what I've heard Whitehurst hasn't been that great in training camp.

I'd say they will be above .500, but how much above depends on how healthy Hasselbeck is.

Whithurst has been AWFUL in camp.

Still will stick with my 6-10 I had earlier
was dead on last year.....
I'm watching the game right now, and the announcers are saying Whithurst had a great camp...??? Hmmm, who to believe...?
The Hawks will have a winning record this season...

No offense to Warren Moon, but these announcers don't know crap about the Seahawks. Last preseason they couldn't even get the players' names right.

I know Whitehurst played pretty good when the team had a scrimmage at Husky Stadium, but the rest of the time he hasn't been that great.

If Matt and Julius start.... 6-10

If Whitehurst and Justin start...... ???

Hopefully I'm over reacting. But Matt looked horrible. He looked just like he did in all of his 4plus pick games last year.

Fuck it sucks being a hawks fan. Along with the lambs and kittens fans. We are one of a kind.

I agree, but it's preseason so it's hard to say Hasselbeck will be bad this season after a couple of drives.

Maybe i'm being to optimistic but I really like this schedule; We play the majority of our tough games at home. 2 of the 3 playoff teams that we play this year are missing key players from last season Arizona and San Diego.
I'm still a firm believer we had the talent last year and it was under utilized now it's up too pete carroll to prove it.
If this team is even a little better than last year we are 8-8...

I gotta agree with Szat. Lucky to split the Whiners and Cards, probable to sweep the Lambs.

I wish we were playing N.O. end of the year because it could be an easy win once they win their division, like last year. Tampon Bay has screwed us each of the last several for some reason and I'd love to get that humid monkey off our backs!

Whitehurst looked better than Wallace in the first half (didn't see the second). No judgments on anyone till the real thing starts.

GO HAWKS!!!!

7-9, 8-8 at best. No way we beat the 9ers in the opener.

Dude what are you saying the game is fixed? Theres no such thing as " no way " in the NFL.
Give some justification and reasoning. Hawks are being build specifically to beat the 9ers.
Stop the run and exploit their secondary. At home we have a good chance away, that will be difficult.

Alex Smith aint shit, we need to stop Gore! which we will with our bigger DL.
