INDIANAPOLIS – Now this is more like it.

The city is covered in a light blanket of white this morning, fresh from the snow that fell last night. It looks a lot more like the backdrop we remember from previous trips to the NFL scouting combine, and definitely more like Indy in late February than the heavy rain that was falling upon arrival*Wednesday night.

Today, the quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers are scheduled for sessions in the media room at Lucas Oil Stadium, so we should be able to check in with Washington QB Jake Locker and Eastern Washington running back Taiwan Jones.

Seahawks GM John Schneider also is schedule for a podium appearance this morning, so he will be able to provide an update on his time at the Combine.

Yesterday, Danny Watkins, the fire-fighting offensive lineman from Kelowna, B.C., was among the last players to make his way to the interview room and provided one of the day’s better stories.
