The Seahawks trading their second-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft also impacted their first-round pick in the 1990 NFL Draft.
Say what? Eight-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy, the third pick overall in ’90, was scheduled to announce the Seahawks’ second-round pick today. But after the Seahawks traded it to the Detroit Lions, Kennedy’s moment in the draft-day spotlight will be postponed until the third round – when the Seahawks now have the Lions’ pick, No. 75 overall.
