Interesting facts regarding The Super Bowl:

- The number one offense and defense have only met in the Super Bowl 4 times, top defenses lead in wins with a 3-1 record.
- The last time the number one offense and defense played was in 1991, the Giants defense won 20-19.
- Russell Wilson could become the 2nd African-American QB to win a Super Bowl. The first being Doug Williams of the Redskins.
- Russell Wilson is tied for 6th youngest QB to be in the Super Bowl at age 25. The others being Vince Ferragamo, Joe Montana, Joe Namath, and Colin Kaepernick.
- The NFC currently leads the all-time record in Super Bowl wins at a 25-22 record.
- The NFC has won 3 out of the last 5 Super Bowls.
- This year, the Broncos scored a total of 606 points on offense with an average of 37.9. The Seahawks defense only allowed 231 averaging only 14.4 points a game.

Another thing I saw tonight. The Broncos are the all time highest scoring offense ever. They put them atop a list with about 8 teams in total of the highest scoring offenses of all time. None of those teams won the Super Bowl in their respective seasons. I have a feeling the Broncos aren't going to either!
