    3 round mock draft

Everything I have been reading about Weeden from the Senior Bowl is that he is BY FAR the best QB there and is pro ready right away. A few have even said he would be a great fit for Seattle in the second round. 1st round talent that will drop because of his age...which really is the only thing I...

    Hate myself for posting this

I can see how people might be annoyed by him and think he is fake or whatever, but that really is him. There is nothing fake about him. I went to college with guys that went to high school with him and knew him personally and they all said the same thing....that what you see from the media is...

    Official CBA Thread

Apparently the two sides are very close and the new proposal was liked by both sides. It is said that a new CBA will be in place on or just before July 15th. Saw the information on Rotoworld.com. If you wanna find it just scroll through the NFL player news. For some reason they post the CBA...

    Official CBA Thread

I agree Matt is STILL better than CW...but to use your analogy it really comes down to whether you want to pay $20,000 for a piece of shit 1980 civic (Hass wanting $9-10 mil), or pay a better more reasonable price for something similar. If Hass is willing to sign for a more reasonable price...

    Official CBA Thread

If you want to throw out facts, I can throw out facts of Matt's numbers the last 3 years. 2008: 7 games, 52.2 CMP%, 1216 YDS, 5 TD, 10 INT 2009: 14 games, 60.0 CMP%, 3029 YDS, 17 TD, 17 INT 2010: 14 games, 59.9 CMP%, 3001 YDS, 10 TD, 17 INT Any of the top FA available or anyone we can trade...

    Official CBA Thread

Who is to say keeping Hass won't result in a similar season? Who is to say Matt even stays healthy for more than 10 games? I never said they should just hand the reigns to Charlie, but getting rid of Matt would not be as catastrophic as you think. He isn't the same player he was 4 years ago. The...

    Official CBA Thread

He had one big game. He threw 12 tds and 17 ints....far from an even average year. We went 7-9....far from a great year, we got into the playoffs because of a fluke year. I am not a CW fan and don't think he would do any better than Hass has. But there are better options in FA or even via trade...

    Official CBA Thread

I really hate when people compare present teams to teams in the past with completely different personnel and management. There is no relevance. The only similarity is that Hass and Krieg were good players for us and Hass may now be out the door. Correct me if I am wrong, but when Krieg left he...

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnds 5-7: Sherman, Legree, Maxwell, Levingston, Smith

They are great for teams that play a lot of zone coverage schemes. For the scheme PC wants to run, gotta have big physical guys.

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnds 5-7: Sherman, Legree, Maxwell, Levingston, Smith

Ya but you cant jam at the line with em and play a pure man defense, which also makes it harder to blits and get after the QB.

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 4, Pick 10 (107): Kris Durham, WR, Georgia

I agree! Everyone on NFL network said it was a great pick. Russell Lande a respected scout said he loved the pick and thinks Durham will be a great downfield receiver. Rare speed for his size, good route runner, good hands, willing over the middle. I love the pick.

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 3, Pick 11 (75): John Moffitt, OG, Wisconsin

Yep. I say the 3 best available players left are Brandon Burton (CB), Davon House (CB), and Sam Acho (DE/Leo type of player)

If there is FA...Gallery! I don't know about everyone else but I like Spencer better than Unger. He actually played very well last year. I think we need to re-sign him. If not to start then at least for depth.

I know it is contrary to what the scouting report says you guys put up on this site, but he is actually a mauler and specializes in run blocking. He is nasty like Cable likes em.

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 3, Pick 11 (75): John Moffitt, OG, Wisconsin

Love this pick! They arent kidding about getting the OL right. It is looking pretty nice right about now. Lets run the ball!

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

You have no idea if he would have been there. The teams boards look nothing like what the analysts think. He was the top player of JS & PC's board. They couldn't trade back, so they took the player THEY had rated highest on their board and the guy they wanted.

OFFICIAL 2011 NFL draft discussion/reaction thread

I am hearing they are trying to trade down from their first pick...which would cost a team a 1st next year lol. That would give them three 1sts next year.

Maybe. But that doesn't fit what their organization's mold. They wont wait until he is completely out of gas to get his successor, they will pick one up when people think he still has plenty left and have him groomed properly...like Aaron Rodgers.

SEAHAWKS 2011 DRAFT - Rnd 1, Pick 25: James Carpenter, OL, Alabama

I heard on NFL radio while our pick was made last night that Ted Thompson loved the guy and wanted to take him in the 1st. Also heard that Baltimore and Pitt liked him a lot and would consider taking him in the 1st as well. ESPN, bleacherreport, internet sites, they are all talking heads so you...

OFFICIAL 2011 NFL draft discussion/reaction thread

Ya it seems like they always get praise for having a lot of picks. But they never keep those picks and always trade them for picks the next year. What is the point if they aren't even going to use the extra picks?
