What do you guys think about the hawks picking up mr. stallworth?

not saying I am a proponent of the idea or anything, but I have entertained the thought... def has both pro's and cons.

    some of the pros...

*we might be able to get him on the cheap - ex cons don't seem to be a hot comodity in the league.
    *still pretty young, 28.
*we may need another receiver, especially if nate leaves and branch gets released/traded (PLEASE!).
*he is/was pretty damn fast... 4.29 40 at the combine.

the cons I am not going to list, as those are pretty obvious.

    your thoughts...

I think he can help the team so I'm not against it, but I don't think the Seahawks want somebody like him on the team.

Exactly. Holmgren/Ruskell wouldn't pick up Stallworth which is why he was released from the Browns by Holmgren.

I'm not sure what the new front office thinks of a guy like Stallworth, but I guess we will find out soon.

Julius Peppers doesn't seem to want a long term deal in Carolina...

But I don't know if I would want to deal with all of his drama...

But his size and speed combo is intriguing.... he could be an interesting fit if we went to a 3-4. He could rotatate from DE to LB based on the situation.

but who would play nose tackle if we went to 3-4? Colin Cole?

IDK man, I am just throwing some ideas out there... I am sure if the hawks were seriously considering it, they could find someone in the draft or FA.

But, from what little I know about a 3-4 D, I don't think Cole can handle it.
