That would be bullshit. Heard last week that a team can't impose any further punishment to PED violations outside what the league issues. Outside of awareness and a slap on the wrist, what can the team do? I would be surprised to see the league go after the team for individual violators.
I don't know where to find the data, and I'm sure there were a couple batted down passes but off the top of my mind I can't think of a single time Wilson had a pass batted down at the line of scrimmage. I don't think that has ever been an issue in his football career.
Glad to see they aren't taking this lightly and are addressing the issue. Also nice to hear that Bruce himself addressed the team. Own your mistakes.

He also led one of the best comebacks in NFL history only to have his defense blow the game with 30 seconds left on the clock. The book on Wilson is open and shut. He is a very good, soon to be elite QB in the league. And this is coming from a huge Wilson basher at the start of last season...
The Rams have one of the better defensive lines in terms of pressuring the QB. And with all that, game on the line, needing a TD to win, Wilson drove his team down the field and won the game.
Wilson is built like a RB. Dude can take a hit and is also very smart. The hardest hits he took were in the pocket. None of his scrambles or runs resulted in a hard hit as far as I can remember.
I also think Wilson's ceiling is higher. Kaps game is dependent on his ability to run. Teams that that couldn't stop him on the ground got torched. Our defense played very disciplined and shut him down week 16. Without the ability to run, he looked pedestrian. Just like Cam Newton did week...
Everyone keeps mentioning arm strength. Again, I say JaMarcus Russell. He could throw the ball 70 yards on his knees.
Wilson is has a great arm and he is way more accurate. Sure Kap can put a lot of zip on the ball and chuck it 60 yards down field but who knows where it's gonna end up...
If that were true, JaMarcus Russell would still be in the league. I don't think Kap can function in a full time pro style offense without the pistol and read-option being a huge part of the playbook. The biggest knock on Kap was he is a system QB, because he ran the pistol offense almost...
Russell Wilson walks into the endzone and politely walks over to the ref and hands him the ball. Kapernick show boats like a dumb hood rat. Case closed.
I love the short video where the guy breaks down the matchup. Every matchup goes to the Hawks. Can the Broncos stop Marshawn Lynch? I don't think so. Can Peyton Manning pass on the Seahawks secondary? I don't think so.... lol its worth a watch.
After being waaaaaayyy off on Russell Wilson and eating some major crow, I'm done questioning Pete and John.... at least until the next head scratcher lol
