Records Wilson could threaten:
Highest Pass Rating: Matt Hasselbeck, 98.2 (2005)
Highest Pass Rating, Rookie: Rick Mirer, 67.0 (1993)
Most Passes Completed, Rookie: Rick Mirer, 274 (1993)
Highest Completion Percentage: Dave Krieg, 65.61 (1991)
Highest Completion %, Rookie: Rick Mirer, 56.38...
Really hope the 9ers drop at least one of their next two (Miami and @New England). If that happens and we win our next two (Arizona and "@"Bufallo), that matchup will determine first place.
The only receiver we play that's on Marshall's level for the rest of the season is Fitzgerald, and he doesn't have a QB that can get him the ball.
Bills have Stevie Johnson, good not great.
9ers have Crabtree and Moss. Solid possession guys, but not elite.
Rams have a mix a talented young guys...
Looks this was fun... The guys that were the biggest Wilson haters on this board (#One and 94) have at least conceded that he isn't the problem. 94 actually fully supports him being the starter now... Now we're stuck with these guys who get super defensive and start calling names, or just don't...
That pick is beginning to look like a steal, unless you dislike short people simply because they're short for some reason.
Wilson had the highest QBR of any QB this week. That means he was better than Manning, better than Brady, better than Rodgers, better than 6'6" Joe Flacco! QBR isn't...
Or it sounds like a team that has a young QB and wants to establish the run early so they don't put as much pressure on him. But I actually do agree we need to throw a little more early in the game.
You really don't want to give Wilson credit for anything, do you? Its pretty annoying.
Funny how Smith and Flynn were both free agents that signed decent sized deals to be starters this past offseason, and now they might both get moved after this season is over.
For this last loss, and the loss in Detroit the defense was the problem. Overall though, out of what's listed, the only thing I've consistently had a problem with is the play calling on offense.
The passing game is still developing. Unlike those teams, the defense is the strength of this team (or at least its supposed to be). We shouldn't have to put up 30 to win. No way this loss is on Russell, he had a great game.
I couldn't disagree more. Lynch did nothing, the defense gave up 24 points to a bad Miami offense. Miami probably has 5+ sacks yesterday we have a less mobile QB back there.
