Actually standby in eastern Oregon , I just came home on rotation for the company , we sub equipment and operators out to the forest service. We build fire line , open roads , build heli pads things like that , it's my dad's logging business I help when times are crazy like this summer. He's based in Lewiston Idaho .

My wife is from Chelan. That whole part of Washington got fucked. Pateros burnt to ashes. It's some gnarly stuff.

I just drove back from Nevada through Lassen National park in California. The smoke was so thick it blacked out the sun and made it 20 degrees cooler. The sky didn't clear up until I got through Eugene Oregon.
