Why the Rams should trade Sam Bradford .

Won't happen this year unless his recovery is delayed since Fisher has unequivocally stated that Bradford remains the starter and all plans on offense revolve around him. He's finally getting some continuity with coaches and players and the talent around him has improved. WR or OL is my guess for at least one of the two first round picks.

It does make some sense, you gotta admit that.
It's not Bradford's fault he got paid what he did and it's not his fault for taking 120 sacks and getting injured often. But at some point you have to move on when a guy is snake bit and I think Bradford is snake bit in St Louis . He's like that guy in the movie Master and commander the one that finally drowns himself because he's cursed the ship ... I think the pressure of that contract and the added pressure of being surrounded by all that talent is to much for the kid. And as the writer states you can get 3-4 QBs for the savings and hopefully one stays upright for an entire season .

Doesn't make sense this year despite the draft talent. Trading Bradford now is like getting rid of a sports car that you never put hi-test gas in or good tires on and never had it in 4th gear. This is the year to see what he can do with continuity and better pieces around him. Definitely makes sense next year if he doesn't perform good enough. IMO he has the best QB skills in this division.
This brings up a very interesting point....
If they have the cap space then they might stick it out with Sam one more year, see if he can pull his head out.
But, they may have their eye on a QB in the draft... if they love say a Blake Broyles or Bridgewater, they might secretly be shopping him. All along I have thought that Sammy Watkins was a lock at #2 for the rams, but this does open up some options.
If it were me, and I know this is totally unorthodox in the NFL.... If I loved a QB I would draft him, and then let Sam and the rookie go at it in training camp. May the best man win, and loser rides the pine. I don't care when you get drafted, or what position you are in. Actually I think especially for QB it needs to be this way. The advent of the rookie scale in the new CBA allows you to take more chances with high draft/high profile positions.

That's how Pedro would handle it.
That would be fine if not for the crap presented to Bradford then his injury. This year is his. No doubt it is make or break.
