Theres mo doubt in my mind that Gar will be inducted into the Hall.

He has the annual DH award named after him. If you have an award named after you, you should be in the HOF.

He definitely deserves to be in, but I'm afraid that too many national voters are buying into the whole DH's shouldn't be inducted argument. Which, in my opinion, is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

They were saying on the Kevin Callabro show that he'll get in. 18 of 20 people that received 36.2% (which is what Edgar got) or higher on their first ballot got in eventually. They went over the two that did not and it seemed like they should not have gotten in.

Edgar is a unique situation though because there are a large number of voters that will not EVER vote for a DH and for that they should be shot. It's part of the fucking game. You don't have to like the position to recognize greatness when you see it. That article I originally posted opened my eyes... Even I didn't realize Gar was THAT great... He's probably one of the top 50, if not top 20, offensive players of all time.
